stranger Season 6 is or will be on Netflix in most regions of the world, with a seventh season also on the way. Here’s the full Netflix release schedule for stranger season 6 and 7.
Distributed by Sony Pictures Television, stranger is a Starz Original that has been on the air since 2014. Its most recent season, Season 6, consisted of 8 episodes and aired between March 6 and May 1, 2022 (remember this date for later). The series is still a giant. , and although a seventh season has not yet been confirmed, one the prequel series is on the way.
The fantasy series appears frequently in Netflix’s Top 10 worldwide, with most Netflix regions streaming the show but in different capacities.
The sixth season of stranger sees a continuation of Claire and Jamie’s fight to protect their loved ones as they navigate the trials and tribulations of life in colonial America.
When stranger be on Netflix Canada, Australia and other regions?
Many Netflix regions received weekly episodes of Outlander season 6, and as a result, all episodes are streaming now. These regions include:
- Belgium
- France
- India
- Malaysia
- Japan
- Hong Kong
- Poland (no Netflix original branding)
- South Korea
- Singapore
Most other major Netflix regions will receive Stranger, but it is not labeled as a Netflix original. In most of these cases, a local distributor broadcasts the show, and then it makes its way to Netflix.
Regions that do not receive weekly episodes of the show include:
- The Netherlands
- Australia
- Argentina
- Brazil
- South Africa
- Mexico
- Sweden
New seasons in these regions usually arrive exactly one year after the series premiered. Season 5, for example, arrived on Netflix Australia on February 17, 2021. The series began streaming new episodes on February 16, 2020.
If that’s the case for season 6, you can expect it to drop in other regions listed above around March 6, 2023.
In Canada, Season 5 was added around 11 months ago, so you too can expect it to arrive in late 2022 or early 2023.

Israel and the United States finally received the fifth season in May 2022.
As we have indicated in previous schedules for strangerNetflix US receives new seasons of stranger exactly two years after they finished airing in the United States. That means we probably won’t see season 6 of stranger on Netflix US until May 1, 2024.

Because it is not stranger on Netflix UK?
One of the notable regions that does not broadcast stranger in any capacity is Netflix in the UK.
This is because, early on, the streaming rights were sold to Prime Video, where the show continues to air at press time.
Also, recently we had even more good news for stranger fans. A series of prequels, called Outlander: Blood of my bloodis in development for Starz.
It is unknown if broadcast rights will work in the same way as stranger but don’t count on it.
With StarzPlay growing around the world, Starz could choose to put it there, but as a reminder, Sony Pictures Television is the ultimate owner of the show.
