Happy Friday! Welcome to your first roundup of what’s been added this week, where we’ve got 16 new movies, 12 new series, and 3 new games to cover. We will also see what is coming over the weekend and review the 10 best movies and series on Netflix.

Heading into the weekend, we have two more A24 movies joining the service, both debuting on Netflix on Sunday. For reality TV fans, you’ll get a season of Laguna Beach: the real Orange County to look at tomorrow.

A24 Movies are back on Netflix! By the end of this weekend, there will be 9 from the independent distributor and one we can’t wait to see again is Uncut gems. This frenetic and excellent film stars Adam Sandler as a dodgy pawn shop owner who has a habit of losing his mind.

This also serves as a great stopgap for the new Adam Sandler movie that Netflix is ​​developing, with one of the Safdie brothers directing. Unfortunately, that movie couldn’t begin filming over the summer as initially planned, so this will have to do.

Our review was just published for the film which currently has a Certified Fresh rating. Our Andrew Morgan liked it too. In his 4-star review, he concludes:

“A return to the things that made us fall in love with Fincher more than 25 years ago with more humor than you would expect. It’s time to order a bucket hat and Hawaiian shirt for Halloween next year.”

Shadow and bone: enter the fold

In case you missed it, this week is Geeked Week, where Netflix has been revealing projects left and right. A stealth release yesterday was the release of a new game based on shadow and bone called Enter the Fold from a German game developer.

The reviews have been pretty good so far, although most fans are simply clamoring to know if we’ll get a third season of shadow and bone Or not.
