As you may have heard, this weekend is going to be a big one for new Netflix news, thanks to Netflix TUDUM 2023. The live stream begins tomorrow afternoon for those in the United States (1:30pm PST, 4:30pm EST). ), and you’ll see new images of people like Bridgerton, heartbreaker, and The Wizard.

Another dangerous mission awaits you in the sequel to the 2020 film that is among Netflix’s most-watched movies of all time.

Most media reviews seem to suggest that the sequel manages to outperform its predecessor, which currently sits at a 77% on RottenTomatoes at press time.

IGN Review of the film called it an «action-packed sequel that doesn’t rewrite the rules of the genre and has no more than the bare minimum of story, but it doesn’t have to when the hits start rolling in and don’t stop.» next.»

Based on a true story, this Angelina Jolie-directed film follows Olympian Louis Zamperini as he suffers a near-fatal plane crash that leaves him stranded and captured as a prisoner of war.

While the film didn’t score particularly well with critics upon release, it has become well-loved by audiences, scoring 70% on RT and 7.2 on IMDb. It also garnered three Oscar nominations, including for Best Cinematography, Sound Editing, and Sound Mixing.

Our last film recommendation today is Race, the 2016 film that, as Intact, it is based on a real story. This biopic tells the story of Jesse Owens, who became the greatest athlete while competing in the 1936 Olympic Games.

The critical consensus for the film, according to Rotten Tomatoeswas: «The race isn’t quite as exciting or snappy as its subject, but the story, and a winning central performance from Stephan James, are enough to carry it over the finish line.»
