Among Netflix’s upcoming adult animated series is exploding kittens, an adaptation of the hit card and video games. Here’s a rundown of everything we know about the new animated series that just debuted at Geeked Week 2023.

Bandera Entertainment and Chernin Entertainment are the two main companies behind the new title. The first is directed by Greg Daniels (The office, Space Force) and Mike Judge (King of the hill, Beavis and Butthead), and the latter is directed by Peter Chernin, who has a broad overall deal with Netflix.
Matthew Inman and Elan Leethe two founders of the company exploding kittens, serve as executive producers of the project. Inman, together Shane Kosakowski (You are the worst), will be the two main showrunners of the series.

When exploding kittens be on netflix?
When the series was initially announced, it was revealed that it would premiere sometime in 2023. In the Netflix Upfronts in May 2023Netflix confirmed that the series would premiere in fall 2023.
We were able to hear more about the series through first looks at the new animated series at Netflix’s Geeked Week between November 6 and 12, 2023.
Before the event, Netflix released a preview of the new event where we saw the new series for the first time.

During Geeked Week at the showcase on Saturday, we released a new trailer for the new series along with four new screenshots.
What we didn’t get was a release date. It’s unclear if the show will still come to Netflix in 2023.
