Bridgerton is one of Netflix’s biggest originals and will return for a season 3 following the release of the first spin-off, Queen Charlotte. With production wrapped, here’s everything we know so far about Bridgerton Season 3 on Netflix.
With almost 950 million hours watched in 2022, Bridgerton is second only to the likes of Strange things In popularity. 656 million hours came within the first 28 days of the second season’s release, with the rest thanks to new audiences enjoying the series, along with fans who watch the series repeatedly.
Between being renewed for a third and fourth season, and a spin-off for the character of Queen Charlotte, the Bridgerton The franchise has firmly cemented its place on Netflix.

It should be noted that season 2 showrunner Chris Van Dausen has stepped down and has has been replaced by Jess Brownell. Van Dusen will remain on board as executive producer.

What is the production status of Bridgerton season 3?
Official production status: Post-production (Last update: 07/20/2022)
Thanks to the cast members of Bridgertonit was revealed in a YouTube video posted by Netflix that filming had officially begun on July 20, 2022.
Many months later, filming wrapped up, confirmed by an image of Netflix staff congratulating the cast and crew on a job well done for their work on the third season.
Directing Bridgerton Season 3 is tricia brook who returns from previous seasons.
Making his Bridgerton directorial debut in season 3 is bille woodruff who has directed yellow jackets and fear of the walking dead.
Alice Robbins he serves as the cinematographer on season 3.
When is the Bridgerton Netflix season 3 release date?
Netflix has yet to announce an official release date for Bridgerton season 3, however, we would expect the series to return in late 2023.
A fall or winter release date is most likely, and it wouldn’t be surprising if Netflix adds Bridgerton to your Christmas content line.

At Netflix’s TUDUM event, we got the smallest sneak peek of Bridgerton’s third season.

It has already been confirmed that Phoebe Dynevor won’t be back as Daphne Basset, Duchess of Hastings.
The first major casting call for season 3 came in May 2022 with the news that hannah dodd would be playing «Bridgerton’s elusive brother» in season 3 taking over the role of Ruby Stokes, who left Bridgerton to star lockwood and company (now cancelled).

What can we expect from Bridgerton season 3?
Every new season of Bridgerton focuses on the romance of different members of the Bridgerton family.
In season 3, the story and romance of Lady Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton are the main focus and the series now focuses mainly on the fourth novel of the source material, Romance with Mr. Bridgerton.

A complete synopsis of season 3 of Bridgerton it has been revealed;
Penelope has finally given up on her long-standing crush on Colin after hearing his disparaging words about her final season. However, she has decided that it is time to take a husband, preferably one who will give her enough independence to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown, away from her mother and her sisters. But lacking in confidence, Penelope’s attempts at the marriage market fail spectacularly.
Meanwhile, Colin has returned from his summer travels with a new look and a serious sense of swagger. But he is disheartened when he realizes that Penelope, the only person who ever appreciated him as he was, is turning her back on him. Eager to win back her friendship, Colin offers to guide Penelope in ways she trusts to help her find her husband this season. But when his lessons start working too well, Colin must grapple with whether his feelings for Penelope are really friendly.
