Mike Tyson is one of the greatest boxers of all time, becoming the youngest heavyweight champion of all time at the age of 20.

And the 56-year-old thinks he could have been even more dominant.

Tyson joined «TMZ Sports» on Friday and said that using psychedelics it would have made him a better fighter in his prime.

«Psychedelics are an enhancement rather than a reduction,» Tyson said when discussing the drugs’ healing properties. «It allows you to enter that realm of comfort only, relax, and get ready to reach your maximum level. It’s an incredible feeling.»

Tyson said that he used psychedelics during a recent training session and expressed his wish that he had tried them during his fighting years.

«Yeah. Yeah. A better fighter. I wish I had done it in my prime,» Tyson said when asked if using psychedelics would have made him a more «dangerous» fighter.

Tyson, who went 50-6 in his boxing career, also promoted the cannabis usesaying that he wished he had used it during his career to help him personally.

«We always thought that cannabis was a reducer, it made you tired, it made you weak, but in reality it made you more alert and studious in your field, in your profession,» Tyson told TMZ Sports.

Tyson’s last professional fight was on June 11, 2005, in a loss to Kevin McBride.

The last time he stepped into the ring was two and a half years ago when he fought Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition, but he said he might be persuaded to fight again.

«I’m just relaxing. I did that. I wanted to do that. I did it,» Tyson told TMZ Sports in early April when discussing his fight with Jones Jr.
