riverdale returns for one last roundup with a seventh and final season. Beginning its life in 2017, Season 7 will be the final season of the Archie Comics adaptation. It will hit Netflix worldwide in 2023, with some regions receiving the show on a weekly basis and others much later in the year.
With over 100 episodes, riverdale has been one of the biggest shows on The CW in the last six years. The mystery drama has certainly had some ups and downs, but now its time is coming to an end.
Mark Pedowitz, president and CEO of The CW, said: «We will treat the show the way it deserves… We want to make sure it goes the right way.»
It’s still unclear how many episodes Season 7 will consist of, but given past years, we’d expect it to be between the 19th and 22nd. We know the series begins airing on The CW on March 29th and ends on August 23, 2023.

When riverdale Will season 7 be on Netflix in the US?
riverdale it’s still coming to Netflix as part of a legacy deal first struck a decade ago. That deal meant that all of The CW’s output came to Netflix after the season finale.
Where we used to get a dozen new shows every year on Netflix from The CW, that number has dropped dramatically. We won’t go into the details here, but The CW’s format will change dramatically over the next few years. Since 2019, Netflix hasn’t had access to newer shows (except All American: Homecoming).
With a later start date and another long season, don’t expect Season 7 to arrive in the summer like Season 6 did.
Instead, since the program will currently end on August 23, 2023, we would expect season 7 of riverdale be on Netflix US between the end of August 2023 and September 2023.

When riverdale Will season 7 be on Netflix internationally?
In most Netflix regions, you’ve been gifted weekly episodes of Riverdale, the past 6 seasons. That’s been the case for most Netflix regions since Season 1. Now that’s been confirmed to be the case for riverdale Season 7 too.
As confirmed by Netflix France, The new episodes will air on The CW on Wednesday nights and then arrive on Netflix internationally at 8am GMT every Thursday starting March 30, 2023.

There are some exceptions to this weekly schedule. Notably, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Italy, Mexico, Turkey, South Africa, and Spain get much later seasons than even the United States. You won’t see Riverdale season 7 until at least 2024.
When riverdale leave netflix?
We’ll cover this in more depth once the show finally comes to a close, but it’s safe to say that riverdale he won’t be leaving Netflix for the foreseeable future.
In the US, we expect the show to leave around 2028, while elsewhere we expect the show to leave Netflix internationally much sooner.
