Currently in its sixth season on CBS, the Sony Pictures Television series SMASH is one of the main hits on the network and has come to Netflix in recent years in various regions. When will new seasons arrive on Netflix? This is what we know.
First airing on CBS Starting in 2017, this procedural crime drama comes from Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan follows the members of a new unit within the Los Angeles Police Department called Last Stop Special Weapons and Tactics.
The series shares the same universe as the one on FX. The shield and, this season, it surpassed the 100 episode mark. It is unclear if there will be a Season 7 today.
Which Netflix regions are streaming? SMASH?
First, let’s start with what Netflix regions currently offer. SMASH, since it is only a handful.
According unogsat least seven regions (do not cover all countries of the world) currently show at least four seasons of SMASH, with the majority of it broadcasting five seasons at the time of publication.

When will season 5 be SMASH be on Netflix UK?
In the UK, he is currently two seasons technically behind in SMASHbut luckily, it’s likely to get a new season in 2023.
Both seasons 1 and 2 were added to Netflix UK in May 2021, with season 3 arriving in September 2021 and season 4 in September 2022.
As you can probably guess from that pattern, we expect SWAT season 5 will be on Netflix in the UK sometime in September 2023.
When will season 6 be SMASH be on Netflix?
All six regions described above will get Season 6 of SMASH in 2023 (excluding UK) in September 2023 in its current state. After all, they received season 5 in September 2022 and all previous seasons the year before.
The addition to Netflix coincides with several Sony Pictures Television shows being released on Netflix around a month before a new season is set to begin streaming. The blacklist is another excellent example of this.
Given the pattern outlined above, Netflix UK can expect a slightly later wait for season 6 of SMASHand it’s not likely to land in service until September 2024.
