It’s time to take another look at the new movies and series coming to Netflix, and this time, we’re looking at everything coming to Netflix throughout April 2023.
Have you missed any of the March 2023 releases? We’re still learning about new titles coming throughout the month, so keep an eye on What’s on Netflix for more information.
As always, while Netflix will be adding plenty of new titles, we’ll also be seeing plenty of movies and series throughout the month. Here we list all the Netflix removals from April 2023.

What’s coming to Netflix on April 1st
American Hustle – Picture: Sony Pictures release
- The American Hustle (2013) – A great cast assembles for this film based on the true story of a con man and his lover who help an FBI agent expose political corruption.
- Beyblade Burst Quad Drive (Season 1) – Children’s animated series.
- The adventures of Blippi (Collection 7) – Live action children’s series starring Clayton Grimm.
- Charlie Wilson’s War (2007) – Tom Hanks, Julia Robers and Philip Seymour Hoffman star in this Oscar-nominated drama.
- Hotel Transylvania (2012) – All your favorite monsters from popular culture come together in this animated comedy from Sony Animation. It features the voices of Adam Sandler, Kevin James, and Andy Samberg.
- Unseen (Season 1) – Japanese crime thriller series.
- Norm of the North (2016) – Animated feature film about a polar bear who has to go to New York City to stop housing development plans in the Arctic.
- Over the Hedge (2006) – DreamWorks Animated film about a scheming raccoon who tricks an unlikely family of woodland creatures into helping him pay off a food debt.
- Safari (2022) – African film by director Bill Afwani.
- Shark Tale (2004) – Martin Scorsese and Will Smith appear in this animated film about a fish who convinces the world that he is killing a shark.

- The Bourne Legacy (2012) – Jeremy Renner dresses as another estranged agent who finds himself at odds with the CIA.
- The Mauritanian (2021) – Based on a true story, this STX Films film tells the story of Mohamedou Ould Slahi finding a powerful ally in defense attorney Nancy Hollander. Starring Jodie Foster and Benedict Cumberbatch.

- Thomas & Friends: Lookout Mountain Mystery (Season 1) – New animated spin-off of the 2D Thomas & Friends franchise.

- War Sailor (limited series) netflix originals – Norwegian drama series set just after the start of World War II and follows a merchant ship struggling to survive.

- Mo’Nique: My Name Is Mo’Nique (2023) netflix originals – Stand-up comedy special.
- The Firm (Season 1) netflix originals – Young artists must impress Latin music icons, including Rauw Alejandro, Nicki Nicole and Yandel, in this reality competition series.

- Lewis Capaldi: How I Feel Now (2023) netflix originals – British documentary about the singer.

- Sucks (2023) netflix originals – Family fantasy adventure film from director Jonás Cuarón, produced by Chris Columbus. About a young teenager who is partnered with a young chupacabra.
- Oh Belinda (2023) netflix originals – Turkish comedy film.
- Thicker Than Water (Season 1) netflix originals – French thriller about the life of a journalist who is thrown into chaos when she protects her brother from the law, inadvertently embroiling her family in the ruthless plan of a drug lord.

- Transatlantic (Limited Series) netflix originals – Gillian Jacobs and Cory Michael Smith star in this biographical series about a journalist who organizes the safe exit of France to the US for thousands of refugees at risk of losing their lives.
