Forward for the Golden State Warriors dramond green is waiting to find out if he will have to sit out a game after stepping on Sacramento Kings All-Star Domantas Sabonis during a Monday night playoff game.
And while there has been no word from the NBA as of Tuesday afternoon, it’s reportedly «unlikely» Green will be suspended for Game 3 of Golden State playoff series against the Kings, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.
«Those around the situation expect Green to be fined, but he will be available for Game 3 given the ejection, Flagrant Foul 2 and the circumstances surrounding the incident with Sabonis, sources said,» Charania posted on Twitter.

Green was assessed as Flagrant 2 and ejected from Monday night game with 7:03 remaining in the fourth quarter.
After the Warriors picked up a rebound, Green tried to take off, but Sabonis grabbed Green’s leg before the four-time NBA champion he stepped on Sabonis’s chest.
Sabonis received a technical foul for his role in the altercation.

«My leg was grabbed, the second time in two nights, and the ref was just watching,» Green said, according to ESPN. «I have to put my foot down somewhere, and I’m not the most flexible person, so it doesn’t stretch out as much… I can only step so far if someone pulls on my leg.»
If Green is allowed to play in Game 3, it will be a must for the Warriors, who haven’t faced an 0-2 playoff deficit since 2007.

«A new challenge. After the game, I was actually thinking about it like, ‘Man, this is one we haven’t seen yet,'» Green said after the game when talking about being down 0-2.
«And we’ve conquered all the others. So why not go conquer this one?»
