Nearly 115,300 travelers affected by the recent bankruptcies of the Ultra and Viva Air Airlines They have been transported by other airlines in the country to their destinations, as announced by the Civil Aeronautics, which highlights that this has been possible thanks to the protection programs implemented by other air operators for the solidarity care of said passengers.

Of that volume, at least 22,000 passengers have had to buy tickets again to reach their planned destinations, according to the balance presented by the Aerocivil.

The information also allows us to see that the volume of travelers that was affected by the recent bankruptcies of these low-cost airlines, 89.3 percent (103,000 people) have been mobilized by Avianca.

«The protection programs implemented by the airlines are given thanks to the solidarity of the air operators and according to their availability. For Aerocivil, solidarity in aviation is standing up, flying and going to help. That spirit, in an essential public service, is a must,» said Aeronautics, which was unable to continue promoting this collaboration.

– 4,500 Ultra Air passengers.

Total: 9,044 protected passengers, of which:
– 8,868 special rate
– 176 at no additional cost
– 5,975 Viva Air passengers
– 3,069 Ultra Air passengers
– 1 additional flight

easy flight:
Total: 14 protected passengers, of which:
– 11 special rates
– 3 passengers at no additional cost

Wingo:
Total: 2,944 promotional codes, of which:
– 2,291 Ultra Air promotional codes.
– 653 promotional codes denViva Air.
– Additionally, 345 Viva Air endorsements.

Colombian Air Force:
Total: 278 Ultra Air passengers
