UFC fighter Sean Strickland intervened in the possible fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg on Thursday and expressed his support for the Tesla CEO and Twitter.

Strickland appeared to take a distaste for Facebook’s social media platform and criticized Zuckerberg in a tweet.

«Man f— Mark Zuckerberg… Dirty communist… No one wants your glasses and disinformation censorship but… Facebook marketplace has a pass…» he tweeted. «@elonmusk come to Vegas. We’ll get down to business!»

Strickland, a middleweight contender, is 26-5 overall. He is set to face Abus Magomedov in July. He is coming off a decision win over Nassourdine Imavov in January. He is currently ranked No. 7 in the UFC middleweight rankings as Israel Adesanya reigns supreme in the division.

The idea for a fight between Zuckerberg and Musk came about when he issued a challenge to a cage fight with the CEO of Meta.

«Send me location,» Zuckerberg said on Instagram, providing a screenshot of Musk’s original challenge. In the opening tweet, Musk said, «I’m ready for a cage match if he is.»

When asked why White felt that way, he said «they both said, ‘Yeah, we’ll do it.'» They both want to do it.»

White said Zuckerberg reached out first and asked if Musk was serious, so White hired Musk, who later said yes.

If this fight were to happen, White says the amount of money it could raise would be unprecedented.

«This would be the biggest fight in the history of the world. Bigger than anything ever done. It would break all pay-per-view records. These guys would raise hundreds of millions of dollars for charity. You have to be a wrestling fan to be interested in this fight. Everyone would want to see it.»

«The greatest fight of all time was Floyd Mayweather and Conor [McGregor]I just think it triples that. I think that triples what he did. There’s no limit to what that thing can do. … Everybody would see it, everybody would want to see it.”

Zuckerberg practices Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ), while Musk has done martial arts, BJJ and was in «a lot of fights growing up in South Africa,» White says.

Maye Musk, Elon’s mother, jokingly wrote on Twitter that she «called off» the fight.

«I actually canceled the fight. I haven’t told them yet. But I will continue to say the fight is canceled, just in case,» he wrote.
