Some strippers at a Denver, Colorado, club support the NBA’s suspension of Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies after he allegedly brandished a gun on Instagram Live where they work in March.
Morant was suspended eight games for that incident, and the league suspended him again for a similar incident involving a weapon last week.
A stripper at the Denver club says Morant clearly did not learn from his mistakes, nor did he apologize to any of the club’s employees for the March incident.

«I don’t anticipate an apology [anytime] soon. He’s a boy,» a dancer told the New York Post.

That same stripper even says that Morant’s career should end.
«He’s clearly begging for attention and trying to be a player,» he said. «He should be kicked out of all clubs and have his NBA career taken away from him given the current circumstances of gun violence in our country.»
Another dancer said, «I wonder how he’s still on the team.»
This is not Morant’s first controversy. It was revealed in March that she got into a fight with a teenager at her house during a basketball game last summer and apparently displayed a gun. Morant says that he acted in self-defense.
The Indiana Pacers also claimed that a confrontation involving Morant and his associates in January affected the team. During the alleged incident, a red laser was pointed at Pacers players from a van carrying Morant. The Pacers believed a gun was being pointed at them and reported the incident to NBA officials.

Morant admitted his off-court problems were a distraction for the team that played a role in the second-seeded Memphis Grizzlies being knocked out of the playoffs in the first round.
“I know that I have disappointed many people who have supported me. This is a journey and I recognize there is more work to be done,» Morant said in a statement obtained by Fox News Digital. «My words may not mean much right now, but I take full responsibility for my actions. I am committed to continuing to work on myself.»
