Shaquille O’Neal doesn’t want to hear any smears from Rihanna after her Super Bowl LVII halftime performance.
Critics took to social media to blast Rihanna’s show, but the former NBA champion backed her on «The Big Podcast with Shaq» last Friday.
«All the people disrespecting Rihanna, shut the fuck up. Shut the fuck up,» O’Neal said. «We live in a world where people have too much freedom, keep your damn thoughts to yourself.

«She did an amazing job. She’s pregnant, she blessed him, she did her thing, she didn’t fall. Just leave it at that. All you superstars who are disrespectful and cause trouble, shut the fuck up.»
O’Neal mentioned «rappers» and «presidential candidates» in reference to the superstars he mentioned. Perhaps former President Donald Trump was the one he was pointing the finger at.

Trump took to social media to give his take on the performance and it wasn’t pretty.
«EPIC FAIL: Rihanna gave hands down the worst halftime show in Super Bowl history,» he wrote. “This after insulting much more than half of our Nation, which is already in serious DECLINE, with her foul and insulting language.

Trump has said in the past that Rihanna, 35, would be «NOTHING» without her stylist.
Rapper Kodak Black also posted live from State Farm Stadium during halftime while watching the show, saying, «Uncle Trump said that dump.»
Either way, Shaq said that if he was dating Rihanna, he would take things a bit further than just talking on the podcast.

«If she was my wife and I saw one of you superstars do that, I’m going to have to attack you,» he said. «Rappers. Presidential candidates. I’m going to have to get to you. Leave her alone.»
Rihanna also performed pregnant, as a rep for her confirmed after the show.
