One of the flagship titles of UK Netflix programming is top boy which returns for its third season on Netflix (or season 5 depending on how you watch the Channel 4 series!) in September 2023. Here’s what you need to know.

Filming will begin in the summer of 2022, which means it will most likely premiere in 2023. Seasons 1 and 2 released 18 months apart.

In addition, the release of the second season also attracted many new viewers to watch the first season. Between March 20 and 27, Season 1 garnered 19.26 million viewing hours.

How has the new season been received? Very good. The series is hitting some of its best review scores since its release. Episode 7 in particular has gone up to 9.4 on IMDb being one of the best in the show’s history. However, we have read numerous complaints about pacing issues this season. Some complaints also claim that the show is juggling too many plot lines.

What to expect from Top Boy season 3
As a quick recap, in episode 8 titled Prove Yourself, Dushane had a definite change of heart, Jaq arranged a pivotal meeting with Curtis, the police hit a blip in their investigation, and Jamie’s loyalty was tested.
