It’s no secret that Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan’s relationship isn’t what it once was, but the former hit his legendary former teammate with another side jab earlier this week.

In fact, Pippen hit Jordan a double whammy by shooting him and praising LeBron James at the same time.

On the «Gimme The Hot Sauce» podcast, Pippen suggested that Jordan was a «horrible player» early in his career, and James has had a better statistical career not just over Jordan, but everyone.

«LeBron is going to be the biggest stats guy to ever play the game of basketball. And there’s no comparison to him. None,» Pippen said.

That said, Pippen didn’t necessarily say that makes James the greatest of all time, and «I’d leave that up for debate.»

However, Pippen still targeted Jordan.

«I watched Jordan play before he came to play with the Bulls. You guys watched him play. He was a horrible player. He was horrible to play with. He was one-on-one, he’s taking bad shots,» Pippen said. .

Pippen then went a step further, noting that Jordan’s legacy didn’t begin to be written until Pippen came along.

«All of a sudden, we became a team and we started winning, and everyone forgot who I was.»

In case you forgot, the duo won six championships along with the Chicago Bulls, and Jordan is widely regarded as the greatest player of all time, although many arguments have been made in favor of James, most recently when he became the best player in the nba top scorer of the time earlier this year.
