Golden State Warriors fan E-40 was sitting courtside watching his team play the Sacramento Kings in Game 1 of the NBA playoffs Saturday night at the Golden 1 Center.

However, E-40 didn’t make it through the entire game as it looked like he was kicked out of the arena during the second half. Videos posted to social media showed the rapper arguing with security guards before he was escorted to the back.

It is not clear exactly what led to the expulsion of E-40. But the rapper gave his version of the story in a statement to The Athletic. He said that he was subjected to «disrespectful interruptions» throughout the game.

«During the fourth quarter, I finally turned around and addressed a rioter in an assertive but police manner. Shortly thereafter, however, Kings security approached me, assumed I instigated the encounter, and proceeded to throw me out of the room. arena», E. -Declaration of the 40 read.

«Unfortunately, it was yet another reminder that despite my success and accolades as a musician and entrepreneur, racial bias still prevails. Security saw a disagreement between a black man and a white woman and immediately assumed I was to blame.

The Kings did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
