What started out as a Valentine’s Day troll from JuJu Smith-Schuster to James Bradberry turned into a Twitter feud involving Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Mahomes was the last to participate in a back-and-forth trade between players from the Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles on the Tuesday after Super Bowl LVII.
It began with Smith-Schuster sending one last troll to Bradberry, creating a Valentine’s card reading «I’ll Hug You When It Matters Most» with a photo of Bradberry.

«Happy Valentine’s Day everyone,» Smith-Schuster captioned.
The troll is referring to Bradberry’s crucial holding penalty called late in the fourth quarter that ultimately led to the Chiefs kicking a game-winning field goal in a 38-35 win at State Farm Stadium on Sunday.

Bradberry admitted after the game that he did pull on Smith-Schuster’s jersey, making it the correct call despite many believing the referees should have swallowed the whistle there.
However, Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown had his teammate’s back.
«First of all, congratulations. You all deserve it,» Brown wrote on Twitter. «This is unfortunate. You were walking out of the league before mahomes resurrected your career with your 1-year contract, Tik-Tok boy. He admitted he got you, but you don’t act like that or you never did. But congratulations again!» «

Bradberry would later send out a subtweet reading «ALL-PRO #APJB», in reference to making the All-Pro second team after a fantastic first season in Philadelphia.
But then Mahomes got involved with a subtweet of his own.

«That man must be bored,» the Super Bowl MVP said, likely referring to Brown.
The Chiefs won their second Super Bowl in the last four seasons, and they will continue their celebration tomorrow at their parade in Kansas City.

Mahomes was named MVP after throwing for 182 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 44 yards. His 26-yard run up the middle on the team’s final drive was crucial in setting up Harrison Butker’s eventual 27-yard winner.
