Missing (2023)

One of two Sony movies coming to Netflix US this weekend via Sony’s first window deal is Missing by ScreenGems.

Directed by Storm Reid, the thriller follows a girl who tracks down her mother through technology after she goes missing, but also discovers her secrets.

Rated Certified Fresh in rotten tomatoes, the critics’ consensus was that the film “may stretch credulity in its efforts to keep the audience guessing, but a brisk pace and relatable fears keep this twisted techno-thriller from losing its way entirely. ”

This movie is not available on Netflix’s advertising level.


The son (2022)

The second big Sony movie to hit Netflix this weekend is Sony Pictures Classics (whose output hasn’t always fallen on Netflix, strangely). The film features an all-star cast about a father who faces new obstacles when his troubled teenage son moves in with them.

As MissingThis movie is also not available on the Netflix ad level.


Catch! Teen (Season 2)

Classification: TV-Y7
Language: Korean
Gender: Animation, Comedy, Family
Cast: Lee Ji Hyun, Mike Yantzi, Bommie Han
Execution time: 13 minutes

Many YouTube channels have made the leap to Netflix and that is the case with this South Korean children’s series produced by SEK Studio and SAMG Entertainment.

Here’s what you can expect from the series that now has over 70 episodes available on Netflix:
