The wife of Jacksonville Jaguars star Trevor Lawrence took issue with a nasty comment a fan made on the quarterback’s Instagram account celebrating his birthday.
Marissa Lawrence turned 24 on Saturday and the quarterback posted a sweet birthday post. However, one person took the opportunity to target him.

«@marissa_lawrence I hope God takes your man. Incompetent,» the person wrote with trash emojis. «Anyway, you’re only in it for the money.»
Marissa Lawrence wasn’t happy about that. She asked her 328,000 followers to report her account.
«I usually don’t post these things, but this is not right… Please report this account,» he wrote on his Instagram Stories.

Lawrence did not seem to aggravate the situation any further. His photo collage included photos of them traveling overseas for the Jaguars’ game in London against the Atlanta Falcons.
«Happy birthday to this beauty! I can’t imagine my life without you,» he captioned the post. «The more I get to know you, the more I love you! You are a gem. Thank you for everything you do for me and everyone in our life. You are amazing. I love you.»
Trevor and Marissa Lawrence got married in 2021. The two had been dating since they were in high school.

Lawrence is in his third season with the Jaguars. He has 2,120 passing yards, nine touchdown passes and six interceptions this season. Jacksonville is 6-3.
