LeBron James reached another milestone on Sunday when the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Philadelphia 76ers.
With 5:47 remaining in the first quarter and the Lakers leading 18-17, James received a pass from Russell Westbrook just in front of the three-point line and hit a jump shot. The double would put him in the 38,000 point club with only Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar ahead of him.

James finished the quarter with 16 points, four assists and three rebounds. He is only a couple hundred points off Abdul-Jabbar’s record of 38,387 points.
The Lakers superstar spoke about the possibility of breaking Abdul-Jabbar’s record in October. She said he and the Basketball Hall of Famer were «not related» but explained what the brand meant to him.
