Katelyn Larson drinks beer after her husband’s NASCAR All-Star race victory

No one saw Kyle Larson dominate the NASCAR All-Star race at North Wilkesboro Speedway having more fun than his wife, Katelyn, on Sunday night.

Larson drove the No. 5 Chevrolet into Victory Lane while leading Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick by more than 4.5 seconds. However, it was Katelyn who stole the show after her husband crossed the finish line. As he burned her tires in victory, she grabbed a Coors Light.

It was Kyle Larson’s third victory in an All-Star career.

Katelyn Larson’s viral beer-drinking celebration was one of the topics of discussion in the documentary, «DIRT: The Last Great American Sport,» according to Essentially Sports. She talked about how the beer celebration became a thing after her husband won a race.

«I told Kyle, when you win a NASCAR race, I’m going to have a beer. Kyle won Dover in 2019,» he says. «I was caught on the boomerang camera shooting the beer in the corner. So it took off from there. It’s a fun, playful tradition, you know…»

Kyle Larson said on the show that fans are looking forward to it.
