After everything was firmly FUBAR at the end of the first season, this leaves us and many subscribers around the world hoping to see a second season of FUBAR on Netflix in the near future. Netflix hasn’t renewed yet FUBAR for a second season, but is it likely that we will get one and what can we expect? This is what we know so far.
FUBAR is a Netflix Original action comedy series created, written, and produced by Nick Santora. Netflix had to crush some serious competition to acquire FUBARultimately winning an intense bidding war for what would become Arnold Schwarzenegger’s first television role in more than five decades of acting.

FUBAR Season 2 Netflix Renewal Status

Our renewal prediction: probable renewal
As the series was not renewed prior to the release of the first season, we are currently waiting for Netflix to renew. FUBAR for a second season. FUBAR expecting the renewal shouldn’t come as a surprise considering the show just landed relatively recently on Netflix.
As we’ve covered relentlessly for the past several years, the first 28 days tend to be the most critical to the future of the program.
Our early June 2023 renewal prediction is that the show is likely to be renewed and it comes down to a few things:
- First and foremost, your serving performance has been pretty good so far. Not top 10 all-time potential, but certainly respectable enough to warrant further exploration.
- Next thing is that Netflix is apparently all-in on Arnold since the release of FUBAR. He has been named Director of Action and has appeared in a couple of other promotions. Not to mention the documentary series of him released in early June as well.
- Finally, FUBAR will be one of the programs that will be presented among those over 45 years old in the next Netflix TUDUM event that will take place on June 17 in Brazil. Barring some behind-the-scenes releases, we’d expect the revamp to get there, if it does.
how good it is FUBAR made on Netflix so far?
Thanks to numerous sources, over the next few weeks and months, we can keep an eye on by FUBAR performance against other Netflix series.

Here is the hourly performance week by week for FUBAR until now:

Although the show did not increase its viewership from week 1 to week 2, we did see quite remarkable retention, especially given the strong week 1 numbers. If we compare the show’s performance to other Netflix original series that have been renewed and have relatively similar genres, we can see that the show is doing well from week 2.

Where is the show doing better on Netflix? Well, it turns out that the show is holding up and doing well around the world according to FlixPatrol, with an impressive position in the daily top 10 on Netflix.
Their data suggests that the program has worked well in North America, Europe, India, and Australia.

What about foreign demand scores? televisionstats.com it currently gives the series a «Good Engagement» score of 13.31 and tracked the show in the top 10 of all shows (not just Netflix) for seven days.
what to expect from FUBAR Season 2?
Tina as a Russian double agent!?
The biggest twist of the season came towards the end of the season when it was revealed that Tina is a Russian double agent who has been spying on the CIA and NSA all along. She hasn’t revealed her true motives yet, but she might be trying to drain every last drop of information she can get from the CIA before informing the Russian comrades about her.
Why is Tina helping Luke and the CIA?
Despite being a Russian double agent, her true motives have yet to be revealed. Also, helping Luke, Emma, and the other secret CIA agents is a great way to hide her identity and continue spying on the CIA.

The dysfunctional family on the run
With their identities revealed, Luke, Emma and the rest of the CIA team will be on the run from the sprawling criminal network they’ve been thwarting.
Nowhere will be safe, and a man of Luke’s size will find it difficult to simply not be noticed. He expects many amusing attempts to stay hidden from the criminal network, with many amusing results.

Faced with persevering, in particular, in multiple death-defying situations, Luke and Emma will finally bond as father and daughter.

When could we expect to see a second season of FUBAR on netflix?
A speculative release date largely depends on whether or not the series is renewed, and when it is renewed.
Filming for the first season reportedly took place between May 2, 2022 and August 25, 2022. This means that the time between the start of filming and the series’ release on Netflix was a little longer. of 12 months.
Between pre-production, filming and post-production, at the very least, it could take anywhere from fourteen to fifteen months. Not to mention, thanks to the ongoing WGA strike, which could continue until August 2023, FUBAR It may not return to Netflix until late 2024 or early 2025.
