A fan managed to run onto the field during Wednesday night’s game between the New York Yankees and the Seattle Mariners, but it wasn’t the various security guards chasing him that eventually stopped him.

The unidentified man was seen being chased by several security guards in the gardens to no avail.
Seemingly fed up with the intruder’s antics, a man is seen jumping out of his seat in an attempt to grab the fan as he ran past.

The man in the stands managed to grab the other’s clothing, which seemed enough to slow him down in time for security guards to tackle him immediately afterwards. But in the process of trying to stop him, the man in the stands fell onto the field.
It is not clear if the fan who was running on the field was arrested or charged. The King County Sheriff’s Office, which handled the incident, did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

The Yankees won their first two games of the three-game series against Seattle. Cal Raleigh’s single that led off the bottom of the tenth inning Wednesday scored pinch runner Jose Caballero to give the Mariners a 1-0 victory.
