After three years from the start of operations, in May 2023 the association between Ecopetrol and Oxy achieved a record production of 100,000 barrels daily oil equivalent (before royalties) in the United States.

Of this figure, 62,000 boed correspond to the participation of Ecopetrolwhich represents, according to the company, a very important achievement in terms of production growth in short-cycle assets.

Since November 2019, when the operation associated with Oxy began in the Permian, more than 250 wells have been drilled in the Midland and Delaware sub-basins, which has enabled this positive performance.
