UFC star Conor McGregor was charged Thursday with raping a woman in a bathroom at the Kaseya Center in Miami after the Miami Heat faced the Denver Nuggets in Game 4 of the NBA Finals last week, according to reports.
McGregor had already come under fire for punching the Heat mascot during the same game on Friday, prompting the person inside the costume to seek medical attention. Nearly a week later, attorney Ariel Mitchell reportedly sent a letter to McGregor, the NBA and the Heat about the alleged postgame sexual assault.

In a letter obtained by TMZ Sports, Mitchell wrote that NBA and Heat security helped separate the alleged victim from her friend and «forced» her into a bathroom where McGregor and his security team were.
The lawyer says that «security refused to let [the woman] leave or allow anyone else, including her friend, into the bathroom.» McGregor allegedly stepped out of a stall and shoved his «tongue into the victim’s mouth and aggressively kissed her.»
«We are aware of the allegations and are conducting a full investigation. Pending the outcome of the investigation, we will have no further comment,» the Heat told Fox News Digital in a statement.
NBA spokesman Mike Bass told Fox News Digital: «We are aware of the allegations and are working with the team to gather more information.»

McGregor is also charged with forcing the woman to perform oral sex on him and «attempting to bugger her» after pinning her against a wall, according to TMZ Sports. Mitchell says the woman nudged McGregor and he was able to escape, but he left her bag behind, so Mitchell says the woman had to beg for it back.
McGregor’s representatives denied the allegations, calling them «false.»
«Mr. McGregor will not be intimidated,» his reps told the outlet.
Mitchell said the woman reported the alleged assault to authorities. Mitchell is reportedly seeking «settlement with the NBA, Heat and McGregor in lieu of litigation.»
