Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Shaquil Barrett has posted a heartbreaking memory of his 2-year-old daughter after the tragic death by drowning in a swimming pool late last month.

The video showed Barrett holding her daughter, Arrayah, and trying to get her to say «mom.»

«Say, ‘I miss you,'» Barrett says in the video. «Can you blow mommy kisses?»

Arryah then cups her hand over her mouth and blows a kiss to the screen. The video was posted to Barrett’s Instagram Stories and made its way to social media on Thursday.

On April 30, Tampa police officers responded to a call about a child who had fallen into a swimming pool and the child was taken to an area hospital but died a short time later, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Police said the incident is believed to be an accident.

The Buccaneers issued a statement regarding the incident.

“Today’s tragic news is heartbreaking for all members of the Buccaneers family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Shaq, Jordanna and the entire Barrett family during this unimaginably difficult time,» the team said.

«While there are no words that can bring true comfort at a time like this, we offer our support and love as they begin to process this profound loss of their beloved Arrayah.»

Barrett’s wife, Jordanna, released a statement days later.

«Thank you all for all the messages, flowers, thoughts and prayers,» she captioned the Instagram post with a photo of Arrayah. «Our world will never be the same again. Arrayah was the apple of my eye, and my heart will always go out to hers. I love you so much, my baby. I’m so sorry. Until we meet again, please take care of your brothers and mom and dad we love you forever and ever and ever.
