In his first game since sharing videos supporting the Target and Bud Light boycotts, Anthony Bass was booed by his own hometown crowd.

Bass, 35, shared a video on his Instagram Stories Monday of a creator named Ryan Miller calling on Christians to join boycotts after the retail giant faced massive backlash this month over his collection of the Pride month.

Two days later, Bass apologized.
«I’ll get this done quick,» Bass said. «I acknowledge yesterday that I made a post that was hurtful to the Pride community, which includes my close friends and family, and I am very sorry for that.
«I just spoke with my teammates and shared my actions with them yesterday. I apologized to them and as of now, I am using Blue Jays resources to better educate myself and make better decisions moving forward.»
«The stadium is for everyone. We include all the fans in the stadium and we want to welcome everyone. That’s all I have to say.»
