For the first time in almost a year, The price of the dollar in Colombia was again below 4,100 pesos. On June 28, 2022, it closed at 4,096 pesos and this value had not been seen again.

The currency opened the day this Thursday at 4,141 pesos, but minutes later it fell to 4,098 pesos. Even got to a registrar a minimum price of 4,085.60 pesos during the day.

Despite trading for most of the day below 4,100 pesos, with only a few minutes to go until closing, which occurs at 1:00 in the afternoon, the US currency rose again to 4,112.40 pesos.

The price of the dollar is more than 45 pesos below the Representative Market Rate (TRM) of 4,158.21 pesos which is valid for this Thursday.

Experts have said that the price of the dollar in the coming months and until the end of 2025 It could range between 4,200 pesos and 5,100 pesos.

Some factors that could impact the price curve in the short term are associated with macroeconomic scenarios, the uncertainty in internal political measures that would generate a country risk and to external situations, such as new measures by the Fed or bearish values ​​in ‘commodities’ (oil).
