NFL fans wondered if officials on the field during the NFC Championship Game between the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers missed another call Sunday night.
This time, the problem came in the third quarter when the Eagles were going to punt the ball. Brett Kern got the snap and kicked it out and Jordan Mason ran over it. Officials threw up a flag to penalize Mason for roughing up the kicker.

The penalty gave the Eagles 15 yards and a new series of downs. Three plays later, Jalen Hurts ran into the red zone and was pushed from behind late, drawing another penalty. Hurts would end the drive with a sneaky touchdown run by the quarterback to help make the game 28-7.
However, fans again wondered if Mason was pushed into Kern on Jack Stoll’s punt. If it had been, there would not have been a penalty and San Francisco would have been down only three points.
